History of school starting from 1.9.1986 to write under the name Special School Želiezovce. Initially set up 2 classes, class in the Hungarian language, the class with Slovak language of instruction and department ŠKD.
Following the structural changes in education, the founder became the County Office of Education in Nitra and the school has acquired legal personality, changing the name of the school-Special Elementary School (SZS).
The school currently has 9 - Classes of the 7 classes of languages: Slovak, 2 classes in the Hungarian language and 1 Department School Club (SK).
In ŠZŠ the establishment of a Special-pedagogical counseling (CAP), which provides technical assistance to parents and children with learning disabilities and behavior of school catchment area.
The school operates 11 teaching staff, 1 assistant Roma, 1 school psychologist, 1 matron-Economist, 1 maid - Skolnick. ŠZŠ provides education for children with intellectual disabilities. Learning takes place in two variants-A,-C variant.
